Job description

Position: Weekend Packer / Inspector
Location: Huntley (F135 Main - 11320 E. Main Street, Huntley, IL 60142)
Shift: Weekend Night Shift | 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Schedule: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
Pay Rate: $18.76/hour

Summary Description

The Weekend Packer / Inspector is responsible for inspecting and packaging thermoformed product to ensure finished goods meet customer specifications and quality requirements while maintaining safe and efficient production flow.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Remove completed thermoformed sheets from machines

  • Visually inspect thermoformed sheets for defects

  • Remove and segregate non-conforming product according to inspection control plans

  • Report non-conforming parts to the machine operator

  • Assemble cardboard cartons

  • Remove individual parts and stack according to job specifications

  • Load parts into cartons and seal cartons

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

  • Keep accurate part counts

  • Ensure parts are neatly stacked

  • Make new boxes as needed

  • Read and understand specification sheets

  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts
