The Opportunity:
The Community Specialist plays a key role in growing and fostering thoughtful, on-brand engagement for the Levoit and Cosori communities. This role supports day-to-day community engagement across each brand's social platforms by monitoring conversations, engaging with audiences, and ensuring our presence feels timely, consistent, and authentic.
What you will do at VeSync:
Community Engagement & Daily Operations
  • Monitor comments, replies, mentions, tags, and threads across priority social platforms to stay closely connected to ongoing community conversations.
  • Engage selectively with audiences to acknowledge, reinforce, or amplify positive and on-brand interactions.
  • Participate thoughtfully in relevant off-page conversations (e.g., creator, partner, or cultural moments) where brand presence adds value.
  • Uphold consistency in brand voice, tone, and moderation standards across all community interactions.
  • Surface shifts in sentiment, recurring conversation themes, or potential risks to the Social Marketing team.

Social Listening & Community Insights
  • Track brand mentions, audience sentiment, recurring topics, and cultural moments across social platforms.
  • Identify emerging conversations, trends, and audience questions that are relevant to content and community engagement.
  • Share concise weekly or bi-weekly summaries of community insights, highlighting notable themes, opportunities, and risks.
  • Surface actionable feedback that can inform content planning, community initiatives, and cross-functional teams.

Influencer, UGC Identification & Content Support
  • Monitor inbound influencer and creator inquiries across social platforms (comments, DMs, tags, mentions).
  • Identify high-quality community and creator content suitable for organic amplification.
  • Maintain visibility into UGC opportunities and coordinate with internal teams to secure approvals and usage rights.
  • Surface community-driven reactions and ideas that can inform content development and ongoing series.
  • Help identify and flag potential creators or influencers who align with brand voice, audience, and content needs.

Monitoring & Escalation of Community Issues
  • Monitor incoming community questions, concerns, or feedback and ensure they are acknowledged appropriately.
  • Triage and escalate product issues, troubleshooting requests, or sensitive situations to the appropriate internal teams using established workflows.
  • Flag high-visibility, urgent, or potentially risky conversations to the Social Manager or leadership.
  • Support proactive sentiment management by helping prevent unresolved issues from escalating publicly

Community Activation Support
  • Support and handle community activations such as conversation prompts, engagement posts, giveaways, or surprise-and-delight moments in alignment with social calendars.
  • Assist in executing recurring engagement initiatives planned by the Social team.
  • Test and report on small-scale engagement tactics to help inform broader community strategy.

What you bring to the role:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in community management, social engagement, and/or customer service.
  • Strong understanding of social platform behaviors and community etiquette.
  • Excellent written communication skills with an ability to adapt to brand voice.
  • Experience with social listening tools (Sprinklr, Meltwater, Brandwatch, etc.).
