Job description

Volunteer Opportunity: Tech Help Assistant

Are you comfortable with basic computer skills and enjoy helping others? We’re looking for a friendly, patient volunteer to assist with our Computer Help Drop-In program at the library.

When: Mondays, 1pm - 2:30pm

Where: Renton Library

As a Tech Help Assistant, you’ll support the librarian by:

  • Assisting patrons with basic computer tasks (email, internet use, Microsoft Word & Excel, etc.)
  • Helping troubleshoot simple tech questions
  • Offering encouragement and guidance as people build their skills
  • No advanced tech skills required, just a good grasp of everyday computer use, a helpful attitude, and clear communication.
