The 2nd Shift Manual Welder (Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM – 2:30 AM) plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by performing high-quality welding operations during evening production hours.

This position requires precision and attention to detail to ensure all welded components meet strict quality and safety standards. The welder works closely with production teams to interpret blueprints, select appropriate welding techniques, and complete assemblies efficiently and accurately.

The role is essential to maintaining production flow, minimizing downtime, and delivering durable, high-quality welded products on schedule.

Schedule

2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM – 2:30 AM

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a manual welder in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols
  • Knowledge of welding safety standards and best practices
  • Ability to work the 2nd shift schedule reliably
Preferred Qualifications
  • AWS Certified Welder or equivalent certification
  • Experience with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes
  • Familiarity with welding inspection tools and NDT methods
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor equipment maintenance
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced production environment
Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding operations per job specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
  • Inspect welded components for defects and ensure quality compliance
  • Maintain welding equipment and perform routine maintenance
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
