Registered Nurse Operating Room Location: State College, Pennsylvania
Pay Rate: $2,000 To $2,240/Week
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour rotating shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 2 years required

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract opportunity in State College, Pennsylvania. This role supports perioperative nursing care for pediatric through geriatric patients and requires strong OR circulating and scrub experience, AORN standards knowledge, and safe surgical workflow practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the holding area, operating room, and post-operative setting
• Circulate and scrub for surgical procedures while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety
• Prepare supplies, equipment, and surgical rooms for assigned cases
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and support safe surgical outcomes
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech and follow AORN standards

Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License Required
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience required
• ACLS And BLS/BCLS Certifications Required
• Meditech experience preferred
• Must be available for Monday–Friday rotating 8-hour shifts; weekend and call opportunities are voluntary
