Job Title: Radiology Technologist

Employment Type:Part-time

Shift:Rotating 8 hour shifts (Day, Evening and Night) - Weekend and holidays required.
Location: Saint Francis Hospital - Wilmington, DE

We are offering a $5,000 hiring bonus to external applicants who meet minimum requirements.

Position Purpose

The technologist is responsible for performing all radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in the department, at the bedside and in the OR., including those utilizing oral and /or injected contrast agents. The technologist assists the radiologist and/or other licensed, privileged physicians during radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. The technologist must show independent judgment when performing procedures and when addressing difficult or unusual situations. The technologist is responsible for evaluating images for technical quality.

As a Radiology Tech, you will:

  • Performs all radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures

  • Utilizes Hospital EMR and Radiology PACS system with accuracy

  • Assesses patients to determine ability to undergo ordered procedure

  • Provides guidance and mentoring to students

  • Accept additional assignments and tasks

  • Provide DX Radiology department coverage 24/7 including weekends and holidays

  • Supports the mission and values of St. Francis Hospital

Minimum Qualifications:

  • ARRTrequired.

  • Delaware license in Radiology Technologyrequired.

  • BLSrequired.
