Job Description
The Bachelor's of Public Administration (BPA) program at the University of La Verne invites applications for adjunct instructor positions. We seek faculty colleagues to join our WASC-accredited online program. We appreciate and encourage applicants with diverse backgrounds and professional experiences in culturally diverse urban/suburban settings to inquire and apply.
There are a limited number of adjunct teaching opportunities within the program. Courses are generally taught 100% asynchronously.

  • Engage in annual meetings and participate in other program-related training and activities throughout the academic year.
Required Qualifications
Earned master's degree in public administration or related field.
A minimum of five years of successful experience in government, nonprofit, or other public service settings.
A commitment to and experience working with diverse student populations and communities.
Working knowledge and expertise in bachelors level program competencies in public administration.
Preferred Qualifications
Substantial doctoral-level coursework or earned doctorate in public administration or related field.
Experience in a variety of public service settings or organizations.
Previous teaching experience, professional-level presentation skills, and/or supervisory experience.
Familiarity with educational technology and learning management systems.
