Tuvli, an Akima company, is hiring for a Tuvli, an Akima company, is hiring for a Functional Property Management Specialist I to support our DoS client located in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities
This position may require overseas and/or domestic travel.
Assists in the training of the Department of State's system of record; Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS), the Secure-Integrated Logistics Management system (SILMS).
Drafts standard operating procedures (SOP), memorandums, and weekly logistics reports pertaining to the procurement handling, programing and inventory/accountability of all DS equipment deployed worldwide.
Assist with annual inventory reconciliation of all geographic regions of DS property using the Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS), the Secure-Integrated Logistics Management system (S-ILMS).
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications
Have a basic understanding of all relevant Foreign Affairs Manual and Foreign Affairs Handbook (FAM/FAH) regulations regarding property management and be able to provide relevant assistance to DS-field personnel.
Associates degree recommended but not required or Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS).
Two years' experience working in the logistics field.
Must be able to obtain a forklift certification within six months of employment.
Proficient written/verbal communication skills.
Active Secret with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance. Top Secret preferred.
Pay Range
$70,000 - $75,000
