Job description

Shift: 6:00 PM-6:30 AM
Hourly Rate: $36.05 an hour + $0.50 shift differential
As a Maintenance Technician, you will help complete all maintenance on the production lines. You will report to the Maintenance Planner and Maintenance Manager. You will work at our Indianapolis Bakery plant, and earn $36.55.
JOB TASKS:
  • You will receive training to perform your maintenance job duties.
  • You will review the work schedule, check equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled, and prepare for operations. This will include Preventative Maintenance.
  • You will conduct shift turnovers to coordinated line calls, review assigned maintenance tasks, pending equipment issues, provide assistance to line operations and guide outside contractors.
  • Review emergency and non-emergency situations and respond.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and install various types of electrical and production equipment.
  • You will support the Conagra Performance System.
  • You can understand blueprints.
  • You will complete preventative maintenance tasks and use maintenance software to ensure an efficient flow of production.
  • Assist all with repairs.
  • Provide inputs to supervisors to schedule maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 6 months of experience working maintenance in a production, manufacturing or distribution environment with automated machinery

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Sit, stand, walk and climb stairs frequently during time on duty
  • Lift/Carry/Push/Pull up to 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Exert 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25-50 pounds of force frequently
