American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Mother & Baby (Couplet Care) position in Kansas, requiring an active KS or compact RN license and NRP certification.
Job Details
• Mother & Baby unit specializing in couplet care, including postpartum and well-baby patients,
• Night shift position, 6:45 PM - 6:45 AM, 12-hour shifts at 36 hours per week,
• Required to work every 3rd weekend,
• Floating to the Special Care Nursery may be required,
• No on-call requirements,
• 13-week contract,
Job Requirements
• Active RN license in Kansas (KS) or a compact RN license recognized in KS,
• Current certifications: BLS and NRP,
• Prior Mother & Baby / couplet care (postpartum and well-baby) nursing experience required,
Additional Information
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates - no radius rule applies,
• Former permanent employees of the facility must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler,
• Two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are required, or an approved declination must be on file (booster not required),
• Copy of COVID vaccination card required for consideration
