Job Title:

IT Manager IV - API and Entitlements Delivery

Location:

TX - Dallas/Irving

What you'll do:

As an IT Manager IV, you'll serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in multiple functional areas/domains on system processes and data structures that support multiple technology disciplines. In this role you'll manage multiple large teams to deliver complex projects in designated domains or functional areas to maintain the security posture on time and on budget. Additionally, this role will collaborate with internal business partners to proactively address ongoing customer needs and ensure rapid resolution to open issues. In this role you will foster a collaborative environment with focus on continuous improvement and delivery of working software. As a IT Manager IV, you'll also participate in strategic and tactical planning for the delivery of products and services, as well as evaluate technology and set standards. Working in this role, you'll proactively recommend improvements to established business processes while you deliver high value in execution. You'll also create and deliver comprehensive project plans as well as remove any impediments, track overall project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of business short-term and long-term goals.
  • Lead and manage multiple large, cross-functional engineering teams responsible for Enterprise Entitlements, MuleSoft Anypoint API development, Azure API Management.
  • Create and implement safety procedures and data recovery plans. Develop user manuals, as well as policies, procedures, and safety protocols for presentation to larger IT and the enterprise.
  • Partner with IT Leadership to build a strategic plan to drive employee development, retention, resource allocation, talent management, performance management, and achieve a diverse and engaged workforce as well as recruit, train, and evaluate staff members' work.
  • Establish, enforce, and continuously improve API governance frameworks aligned with FFIEC, COBIT, NIST, SOX, and enterprise risk management expectations across federated development teams.
  • Work with IT Leadership in the preparation and management of the annual budget, business cases, execution plans, and operating plans for their team as well as resource allocation to achieve established program priorities.
  • Ensure adequate risk management and cyber security processes and controls are established and maintained in alignment with the risk appetite for the Bank, as well as regulatory and enterprise risk management expectations.
  • Develop and maintain user manuals, technical documentation, policies, procedures, and safety protocols for use across IT and the broader enterprise.
  • Ensure platform availability, resiliency, and recoverability in alignment with enterprise business continuity and disaster recovery standards.

What you'll need:

  • 8+ years of related experience in IT--App Support, IT--Development, IT--Networking or similar field.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • Previous leadership experience required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking is preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards, and practices.
  • Intermediate knowledge of API Platforms: MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Azure API Management (APIM) including related technologies: REST, OpenAPI/Swagger, JSON, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Security & Compliance technologies including: TLS/HTTPS, mutual TLS, OWASP API Top 10, secure API design principles, Development Technologies: Java, C#, .NET, Angular or comparable frameworks.
  • Advanced experience in managing multiple technology teams (Application Engineering Support and Delivery, Infrastructure Engineering Support and Delivery, Architecture, or Project Management) including additional responsibility for the execution of KPIs and timelines.
  • Advanced experience with the execution KPIs and timelines with proven ability to analyze a variety of data and summarize findings in applicable reports or other communication mediums. Utilize data to identify areas of improvement and opportunities for growth by collaborating with business and tech leads.
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
  • May require up to 25% travel.
