Job description

The role:

In partnership with the Bridge Project, Waythrough provides 50 dispersed homes across Bradford, offering homeless single women and their young children safe, secure and accessible accommodation. As a resident support volunteer, you would assist in meeting residents' needs at Bradford's Temporary Accommodation Service (BTAS)

Tasks may include:

  • Deliver person-centred support
  • Promote safety, dignity, and empowerment for tenants
  • Provide high-quality accommodation that promotes stability, recovery and long-term independence.
  • Working with Staff to take residents to appointments.
  • Be a point of contact for residents' concerns.
  • To share any concerns about residents with a staff member.
  • To respect peoples' differences.
  • To work within agreed professional boundaries at all times and in line with Waythrough policies and procedures
