Job description

You will serve as a TECHNICAL EDITOR in the DOCTRINE of NAVINFOWARDEVCEN NORFOLK.Qualifications:GS-12
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
  • Experience writing, researching, analyzing and editing doctrinal publications.
  • Experience independently reviewing and editing documents such as concepts, CONOPS, OPTASK, NWPs, NTTPs, NTRPs, TACMEMOs, and TACBULs
  • Experience participating in IW doctrine related discussions at Navy, Joint, and combined seminars, conferences, and various other forums.
  • Experience developing white papers, point papers, and power point presentations detailing the command's position, recommendation, and gap analysis related to warfighting operations, planning, and tactics.
  • Experience supporting communication and collaboration efforts using means such as SharePoint and cloud-based solutions.
  • Experience assisting in the adjudication of comments and drafting flag-level packages.
