Volunteerism has been at the core of the YMCA since its founding in 1844 when a group of young people lent their time and effort to improve living conditions in their community. YMCA volunteers across the U.S. are lending their diverse skills and gifts to help transform lives through-out our communities. We are always in need of your distinct skill-set, and we have a variety of ways for you to become involved:
