St. Ann’s Community is currently looking for a full time Philanthropy Services Assistant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gift processing and database maintenance activities, as well as supporting other administrative activities of the Foundation and Volunteer Services Department. 
 

St. Ann’s Community Offers:

Job Description:

•    Responsible for coordination and management of St. Ann’s Foundation donor database inputting and extracting data as needed in order to advance the efforts of the Foundation. 
•    Accurately enters gift data into database, ensuring that all are coded correctly according any restrictions or reporting requirements that may apply. 
•    Prepares deposits for Finance Office and generates acknowledgements for donors.
•    According to established guidelines, inputs information into the database, including address updates, new donor information, gift information, call report data, etc.
•    Maintain guest lists, process registrations, manage volunteers, process payments and other duties as assigned for events.
•    Responsible for list generation used in mailings, including but not limited to: appeals, newsletters, and events.  Runs complex reports, and executes complex queries from the database to fulfill data reports.
•    Supports the Foundation’s effort to manage the donor/volunteer database by performing other duties as requested.  These duties could include requests for information regarding gifts, generating queries, producing financial or analytical reports or assisting in other database management activities.
•    Other duties as assigned to support the advancement of St. Ann’s Community philanthropy programs. 
•    Reliable, dependable and timely in providing information and support.
•    Resourceful in completing prospect research activities including skilled use of internet research tools.
•    Maintains the highest level of confidentiality with all information, records and reports.  
•    Complies with applicable organizational policies and procedures i.e., mandatory education, health requirement, HR requirements.
•    Improve efficiency and performance relative to the system’s organizational goals.
•    Consistently delivers high quality service being responsive to both internal and external customer needs.
•    Adheres to AFP’s Code of Ethics and Donor Bill of Rights

Candidate Requirements:

  • Cover letter with resume must be included for consideration (Required)
  • Associates Degree or equivalent with 3 to 5 years prior experience and/or training (Required)
  • Must have well developed skills in prospect research and extensive knowledge of the internet and other biographical and wealth indicator information services
  • Experience in Raiser’s Edge NXT strongly desired
