The Role As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a key role in co-leading the design and development of data services that support our enterprise analytics platform. You will collaborate across the entire data lifecycle- identifying and defining data requirements, assisting in data model design, and delivering high-value data products to drive enterprise analytics initiatives. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree with at least five years of experience in data analysis or data engineering, or a master's degree with a minimum of three years of relevant experience.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

You possess strong expertise in capturing business requirements and translating them into effective data solutions. Your ability to define use cases and distill complex concepts makes you an invaluable resource to stakeholders. You excel at creating user stories and assessing the impact of changes to datasets and data models. Leveraging your solid understanding of agile methodologies, you break down complex initiatives into manageable tasks. Experience with Jira or Jira Align is a plus. With advanced SQL, you analyze and wrangle datasets to uncover actionable insights. Experience with Snowflake, Copilot, PowerBI , Alation, Collibra , Power Designer and Modeling would be a plus. You communicate sophisticated concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, consistently making the complex understandable. Your passion for continuous learning drives you to master new skills and stay informed about the latest advancements in data analytics. You demonstrate strong data analysis and profiling skills, with the ability to develop comprehensive validation scenarios. You have experience working with integrated enterprise data in cross-functional teams, skillfully evaluating alternative solutions and recommending optimal approaches. You apply best practices in data management and data governance when designing and building data solutions. Your communication and presentation skills are exceptional, enabling you to build relationships and effectively convey ideas.

The Team We have an exciting technology opportunity within the Data Analyst Chapter to develop modern data solutions for the Fidelity Associate, Workforce & Security Technology Product Area in Corporate Services.

Our team is dedicated to delivering essential IT capabilities data to the technology analytics platform, enabling robust enterprise reporting, metrics, and analytics.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model

Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues.
