Job description

Caregivers (family members taking care of family living at home) often forget to take care of themselves. As a Bristol Hospice Volunteer, you will able to relieve some of their stress and give them time to take care of themselves. Times and dates are flexible but usually 2-4 hours per visit are needed for Caregivers to go to doctors appointments, run errands or go see a grandchild play soccer; we never know. We ask all our volunteers for 4 hours a month so this could be one or two visits a month. You will be sitting with the patient and reading to them, listen to music, go for a walk, make them a meal etc.
