Job description

Help build iLevelUP, a digital platform preparing underserved youth and young people for education, careers, financial capability, and life.

We are seeking a volunteer Full-Stack Developer to deliver end-to-end features spanning responsive interfaces, APIs, business logic, databases, integrations, testing, and deployment.

Responsibilities:Design, build, test, and document complete product featuresImplement accessible user interfaces and secure backend servicesModel data, integrate approved APIs, and handle validation and errorsWrite automated tests and participate in code reviewImprove performance, reliability, observability, and maintainabilityTroubleshoot defects across application layersCollaborate with product, UX/UI, content, QA, data, security, and DevOps volunteersSupport releases and maintain technical documentationQualifications:Experience building modern web applications across front-end and back-end layersProficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript or comparable languages, a UI framework, APIs, and databasesFamiliarity with Git, testing, cloud environments, debugging, and secure codingKnowledge of accessibility, privacy, and responsive designStrong problem-solving, documentation, and remote collaborationThis is a remote, recurring volunteer role available within the United States. Expect approximately 6–10 hours per month.
