Job description

The Windsor of Savoy in Savoy, Illinois is a senior living community offering independent living apartments as well as assisted living and memory care in our Windsor Court facility. The Windsor of Savoy is an affiliate of Greencroft Communities in Goshen, IN.

We are currently looking for a seasoned Life Enrichment Supervisor to lead the Life Enrichment team to ensure we provide a comprehensive variety of activities and experiences for current and potential residents.

Schedule:

  • Monday- Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Occasional after-hour or weekend duties are possible for events/outings

Pay Range: $18.71 - $30.21 (Depending on experience)

Benefits: This is a full-time on-site position and is eligible for medical/vision/dental benefits, 403b, life insurance and various ancillary options.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide direct supervision of life enrichment team members including, but not limited to, hiring, training, scheduling, redirection and annual feedback sessions, with an end result of building a cohesive team environment
  • Develop monthly calendar, weekly activity updates, and other communication tools to keep residents informed
  • Plan and coordinate activities to meet residents’ mental, social, physical and spiritual needs
  • Plan and coordinate educational and entertainment programs for all residents within budgetary guidelines
  • Assess activity needs of resident population and develop and lead various programs and activities based on those needs
  • Maintain equipment and order supplies for the department
  • Work with other team members and departments to coordinate events/activities
  • Oversee activity volunteers
  • Execute contracts and payment vouchers for outside entities and vendors
  • Implement effective scheduling of team members to cover the activity needs of the residents, including volunteers

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required
  • Two or more years of previous experience working with older adults
  • Two years supervisory experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Dependability and high motivation to work with and care for older adults
  • Creative program planning skills
