Job description

We are looking for a Customer Education Trainer to support our Life Sciences & Healthcare customers, with a focus on our discovery and preclinical solutions.

This individual will report into the Director of Education and should possess both a strong scientific background and exceptional communication skills. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, helping researchers, scientists, and R&D professionals maximize the value of Clarivate solutions while supporting the adoption of AI-assisted workflows and emerging technologies.

Working with sales, customer success and product managers, this individual will deliver customer-facing producttrainings,increasingly centered on our AI-assistedworkflows.

About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, Drug Discovery, Preclinical Research, or a related scientific discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

  • Strong scientific knowledge with the ability to confidently discuss research workflows, scientific concepts, and preclinical R&D processes with researchers and scientists.

  • Experience translating complex scientific or technical information into easily understandable content.

It would be great if you also have...

  • Strong understanding of the life sciences industry, particularly in the discovery and preclinical R&D space.

  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) in your own work.

  • Familiarity with generative AI concepts.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to workbothindependently andcollaboratively.

  • Experience presenting to diverse audiences, ranging from one-on-one customer sessions to larger virtual or live training events.

  • Maintain deepexpertisein Clarivate solutions, industry trends, and emerging applications of AI within life sciences research and development.

  • LeverageAI tools in your own workflowsand helpidentifybest practices for the team.

  • Ability to travel to client sites for training.

The Customer Education team is a globalgroupresponsibleforhelpingClarivate customersmaximize the value of our solutions,resulting instrongusage,adoptionand customer retention.We combine instructor-led training, digital learning experiences, in-product guidance, and AI-powered engagement strategies to help customers achieve their goals. As Clarivate continues to expand AI capabilities across its portfolio, Customer Education plays a critical role in helping customers understand, adopt, and realize value from both our core products and emerging AI-driven solutions.

Hours of Work

  • This is a full-time position, primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed.

  • Hybrid position working in the office 2-3 days a week.

Compensation

The expected base salary for this position is $68,000 - $85,000 USD per year.This role is eligible for bonus earnings.Individual pay is based upon experience, education, skill and ability, expertise, and relevant factors.
