University Volkswagen is a top-performing Dealership, and we are looking for a passionate and talented Service Consultant to join our Volkswagen Service Drive team. The successful candidate should have prior experience in client management and customer service. The Service Consultant will work closely with the Volkswagen Service Manager and the rest of the Volkswagen Service Drive team.

Any job offer will be conditioned on passing a drug test for the following substances: Benzodiazepines, Barbiturates, Methadone, Propoxyphene, Cocaine, Heroin, Codeine, Morphine, Amphetamines, PCP. We do not test for marijuana or THC.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing client expectations and customer experience at the front counter.
  • Responsible for assisting โ€œVIPโ€ clients as well as clients with โ€œknown issuesโ€ and resolving concerns in real time.
  • Responsible for recording client concerns accurately.
  • Responsible for providing accurate estimates for repair to clients.
  • Responsible for sales including maintenance, repair, warranty, parts, and other work.
  • Responsible for meeting Key Performance Indicators as outlined by Service Manager.
  • Responsible for managing and maintaining the Dealershipโ€™s reputation by providing the highest quality service, accepting ownership for โ€“ and resolving, customer service issues.
  • Expected to adhere to the service process and cashiering guide.
  • Expected to complete and maintain factory certification and factory trainings as directed and in the timeframe established by their direct supervisor.

Requirements:

  • One year or more experience of client management in the automotive or hospitality industries or two or more yearsโ€™ experience in any client management role. Hiring Immediately!
  • Six months of experience in a customer-service related field is preferred but not required.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Basic math and cash handling skills are required.
  • Excellent conflict resolution and client management skills preferred.
  • A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to follow instructions with a positive attitude.
  • Be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license.

Volkswagen Service Consultants receive commission and bonus payments based on Gross Profit, Volume of Tire Sales, Customer Service Surveys, and VW Care Contracts Sold. The average Volkswagen Service Consultantโ€™s annual compensation can range from $119,000 to $178,000, though any individualโ€™s wages, commissions, or bonuses could be less or more based on their individual performance.
