Your Role as a Service Porter is to move vehicles as they progress through the repair process, light facility cleaning and maintenance tasks, assisting the service department personnel with the processing and delivery of serviced vehicles and to assist as needed in other operations of the shop.

Shift Type: Full and Part-time shifts available

Compensation: $16.00 to $18.00 DOE

Principal Responsibilities

  • Prepares vehicle, tagging, installing protective seat covers and floor mats.
  • Transports vehicle to designated parking area to await service.
  • Delivers completed vehicle to customer.
  • Provide shuttle service as needed.
  • Responsible for keeping the service area safe, neat, and clean.
  • Informs Service manager of cleaning supply needs.
  • Checks service parking lot at the end of day to ensure all vehicles are locked and keys are placed on the appropriate keyboard.
  • Performs other duties as directed by management for the proper function of the Service Department
  • Employee must be well groomed, clean and ready to work at assigned time.

Work Environment:

This role requires walking and traveling across the dealership, lot, and uneven surfaces. You will be exposed to outdoor elements and shop conditions, including noise, dust, fumes, and temperature variances.
