Role Overview
Senior Infrastructure Engineer with 10 to 12 years of experience to lead the design implementation and management of our missioncritical enterprise infrastructure
Resource will be the primary technical authority for a complex environment spanning highperformance compute hyperconverged infrastructure HCI and multitier storage solutions
This role requires an expertlevel understanding of the entire stack from physical Cisco and Dell server hardware to advanced VMware virtualization and enterprisegrade backup strategies
Core Responsibilities:
Virtualization HCI Management
Design and maintain largescale VMware vSphere and vCenter environments
Lead the architecture and daily operations of VMware vSAN and Cisco HyperFlex clusters to ensure high availability and performance
Perform performance tuning capacity planning and deep troubleshooting across all virtualized platforms
Hardware Compute Infrastructure
Manage and support a diverse fleet of Cisco UCS and Dell PowerEdge servers
Oversee hardware lifecycle management including firmware upgrades physical deployments and health monitoring
Storage Operations
Administer enterprise storage platforms specifically HPE Allettra and Dell Isilon PowerScale
Optimize storage performance using tiering caching and protocol management NFS SMB HDFS
Execute LUN provisioning file system administration and capacity forecasting
Backup Disaster Recovery
Act as the technical owner for Veeam Backup Replication ensuring robust data protection for virtual and physical workloads
Design and test disaster recovery DR plans maintaining strict RTORPO targets
Lead complex recovery efforts during outages or security events
Required Skills Qualifications
Experience 8 to 10 years in enterprise systems engineering or infrastructure operations
Virtualization Deep expertise in VMware vSphere 7x8x vSAN and NSX
HCI Storage Handson experience with Cisco Hyper Flex Dell Isilon and Allettra storage arrays
