Project Description:
• VMware Horizon View admin required for managing virtual desktop infrastructure using VMware Horizon View.
• This role requires a good understanding of virtualization technologies and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional t$eams.
Responsibilities:
• Manage a team of individuals to support customer VMware Virtual Desktop Infrastructure environment.
• Responsible in maintaining and achieving SLA defined along with team creating a strong tracking system to measure SLA.
• Responsible for leading and motivating team to accomplish tasks along with build healthy environment among co-workers, other team, vendors and customers.
• Technically strong on VMware VDI,
• Responsible for maintaining compliance while performing various task and duties by self as well as all team members.
• Identify gaps and share improvement plans wherever necessary with customer to plan for its execution.
Mandatory Skills Description:
• Experience in managing VMware Horizon or other VDI solutions.
• Establish and maintain service levels, monitor vSphere, and Horizon View infrastructure, and manage vSphere alarms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve vSphere and Horizon View issues related to VM availability, Horizon View connectivity.
Certifications -
• VCP-DTM VMware Certified Professional - Desktop management
• 4 years of experience required.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• In VMware vCenter managing and VMware APP Volume manager
