Job description

VMware Administration
• Manage and maintain VMware environments (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter)
• Perform VM provisioning, configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability (HA), DRS, and clustering
• Execute patching and lifecycle management for VMware infrastructure
• Manage storage (SAN/NAS) integration and networking within virtual environments
• Perform capacity planning and resource optimization
Veeam Backup & Disaster Recovery
• Design, implement, and manage Veeam Backup & Replication solutions
• Configure backup jobs, replication, and recovery strategies
• Perform regular backup validation and restoration testing
• Manage backup repositories, retention policies, and storage optimization
• Ensure compliance with RPO/RTO requirements
• Troubleshoot backup failures and ensure data integrity
Technical Skills
• Strong experience in VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter)
• Hands-on expertise in Veeam Backup & Replication
• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) deployment and management
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policies
• Experience with FSLogix profile management
• Familiarity with Azure IaaS, networking, and storage services
• Scripting skills (PowerShell preferred)
• Experience with Azure security & identity management (Azure AD, MFA)
• Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and business continuity
• Certifications (preferred but not mandatory):
o VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
o Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
o Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty (AZ-140)
o Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE)
Salary Range- $85,000-$100,000 a year
