Job description

"LOVE LIVING LIFE!" Come join our incredible team of dedicated people working to help struggling, in crisis adolescents and families. Together we are PROVIDING HOPE, EXCEEDING EXPECTATIONS, and CHANGING LIVES. Vive is a Joint Commission Accredited Facility!

  • Custodial: Confident with daily custodial duties including floor care, trash removal, and general sanitation.

Experience amp; Scope

  • 1โ€“2 years hands-on facilities/maintenance (preferably healthcare, hotels, schools, or large commercial).
  • Confident with triage + repair across plumbing, carpentry/finishes.
  • Comfortable solo coverage for a shift; knows when to escalate to trades/vendors.

Certifications amp; Compliance

  • Fire/Life Safety basics; understands NFPA 101/99 concepts (exits, fire doors, egress, med spaces).
  • Infection Control Awareness (e.g., ICRA barriers, negative-pressure rooms, dust control).
  • Able to pass TB test, immunization and background checks common in hospitals.

Systems amp; Tools

  • Uses a CMMS (creating/closing WOs, PM routes, parts tracking).
  • Familiar with BAS/BMS (reading alarms, trending temps/pressures).
  • Reads basic schematics and as-builts; documents repairs clearly.

Availability amp; Reliability

  • Rotating on-call, evenings/weekends, fast response to critical alarms.
  • Can lift 50+ lbs, ladder/roof work, confined spaces (with permits).

Soft Skills (big in hospitals)

  • Communicates well with nursing/clinical teams; calm around patients/families.
  • Prioritizes safety and patient impact (noise, dust, outages).
