Surrounded by vineyards, Michelin-star restaurants and exquisite views in Yountville, our 22-acre haven sits among one the most coveted viticulture regions in the world. We invite our guests to immerse themselves in a redesigned Wine Country experience in a delightfully vino-cultured manner: two luxury hotels with decidedly different personalities – the vibrant Hotel Villagio and its sophisticated counterpart, Vintage House, a chic and tranquil sanctuary. A combined room-count of nearly 200 rooms and suites allows us to create a memorable experience for any occasion!

JOB SUMMARY:
The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, comfort, and overall satisfaction of guests by maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms in the hotel. This role plays a crucial part in providing a positive guest experience and upholding the hotel's standards of cleanliness and service excellence specifically in guestroom areas.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Clean and prepare guest rooms to hotel standards, including making beds, changing linens, and dusting
  • Vacuum, mop, and sanitize floors
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms, fixtures, and surfaces
  • Replace amenities, towels, and linens as needed
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues in guest rooms to the Housekeeping Supervisor
  • Greet guests with a friendly and courteous demeanor when encountered
  • Respond promptly to guest requests related to guest rooms and ensure their comfort during their stay
  • Report lost and found items in guest rooms to the Housekeeping Supervisor
  • Maintain stock of cleaning supplies and amenities in the housekeeping cart
  • Report low inventory levels to the Housekeeping Supervisor for replenishment
  • Ensure that each guest room is properly cleaned, organized, and free of any discrepancies
  • Inspect guest rooms for cleanliness and adherence to standards before guest check-in

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull cleaning equipment and perform cleaning tasks
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed
