Job description

Qualys Patch Management Specialist

Configure and implement Qualys Patch Management module for AWS EC2 environment

Design and execute tag-based patching strategy (Env, OS, criticality, patch window)

Set up patch baselines, patch jobs, reboot strategy, and exception handling workflow

Ensure agent compliance, asset onboarding, and patch readiness across servers

Drive non-prod and prod rollout with validation and compliance tracking

Enable Vulnerability (VIT) remediation through integrated patching workflow

OS-level issue resolution (Linux/Windows)

Agent compliance and monitoring

Incident/problem management support

Collaborate with platform and operations teams for stability, reliability, and automation

Strong hands-on with Terraform (design + build + troubleshooting)

Create reusable Terraform modules

Manage infra lifecycle (provision → modify → destroy)

Experience with CI/CD-integrated IaC pipelines

Hands-on EKS cluster operations and management

Cluster setup, node groups, scaling

Workload management, resource optimization

Linux (RHEL / Amazon Linux) + Windows administration

System troubleshooting, performance tuning

Hands-on handling:

OS-level issues
