Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding contract opportunity is available for an educator with expertise supporting students with visual impairments in a vibrant school cluster near the Baltimore area. This position is school-based, with a hybrid element for virtual IEP meetings, allowing you to balance direct student support and collaborative engagement with teams. The assignment runs from August 31, 2026, to June 17, 2027, and offers both full-time and part-time options—ideal for professionals seeking flexibility while maintaining a consistent impact.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Valid Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) teaching certificate with a Vision endorsement
  • Experience providing services as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI)
