What you get to do:

As a Supervisor, Visual Merchandiser, you will lead the planning, execution, and maintenance of visual merchandising presentations across assigned park retail locations.

  • Supervise, coach, schedule, and develop Visual Merchandising Ambassadors.
  • Assign workloads, project timelines and monitor progress to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Support visual merchandising planning and execution for new products, seasonal transitions, special events, promotions, and new retail locations.
  • Ensure visual presentations, merchandise sets, signage, fixtures, props, and displays are implemented safely and consistently with corporate standards and approved creative direction.
  • Update merchandise presentations based on product availability, sales performance, inventory levels, and business needs.
  • Conduct regular store walks with Merchandise leadership to evaluate visual standards, identify opportunities, and establish priorities.
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, removal, storage, and disposal of visual merchandising materials, displays, fixtures, and related assets.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of planograms, floor sets, window displays, promotional layouts, and product activations.
  • Maintain organized visual merchandising workspaces, storage areas, tools, supplies, fixtures, and display components.
  • Identify damaged, outdated, or inconsistent visual elements and ensure timely repair, replacement, or removal.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors regarding signage, fixtures, props, fabrication, printing, and installation needs.
  • Monitor project expenses, supply usage, and visual merchandising resources in partnership with Merchandise leadership.
  • Provide ongoing training, feedback, coaching, and performance documentation for direct reports.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

What it takes to succeed:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree in visual merchandising, retail management, design, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of four years of visual merchandising, retail presentation, store design, or related experience.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience developing and executing merchandise displays, planograms, floor sets, signage, and promotional presentations.
  • Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles, including product placement, balance, color, scale, traffic flow, and storytelling.
  • Ability to interpret visual directives, planograms, design concepts, measurements, and installation instructions.
  • Strong project-management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, troubleshoot installation issues, and make timely decisions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Software Suite and other design-related software.
  • A valid state driver's license and the ability to meet company vehicle-operation requirements.
  • Theme park, hospitality, entertainment, or high-volume retail experience preferred.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the work shift.
  • Must be able to climb ladders or work at elevated heights when necessary.
  • Must be able to kneel, squat, bend from floor to waist, reach overhead, grasp objects, and perform fine hand-manipulation tasks.
  • Must be able to safely use tools and equipment required for display installation and maintenance.
  • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, dust, fumes, and odors.
  • Must be able to work around cleaning products, adhesives, paint, hardware, and other materials used in visual merchandising.
  • Must be flexible regarding work locations based on business needs and project requirements.
