Consumer Products CW Lab Technician - Lab Tech I
We are currently seeking a motivated Laboratory Technician to join our Home Improvement Consumer Products Lab Team. As a Lab Tech, you will play a critical role in conducting tests and experiments to ensure the quality and safety of our consumer products. This is a full?time, in?person position based at the client's Center.
This is a highly active role that requires a strong work ethic and the ability to keep up with a fast?paced environment. The worker will perform physical and/or mechanical analyses and tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare materials and organize setups for product testing
- Assist in laboratory experiments through testing and evaluation of new materials and products based on research
- Perform mechanical performance tests for research, development, or quality control purposes
- Conduct visual observations and testing on competitor product samples and communicate results to appropriate stakeholders
- Perform hands?on testing using multiple pieces of laboratory equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills; self?motivated and results?driven
- Prior laboratory or manufacturing experience
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and complete tasks with little to no supervision
Required:
- High school diploma
- Open to: Bachelor's degree or 2 years associate degree
Pay Range: $23 to $25 per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
