POSITION TITLE: Visual Lab Lead
REPORTS TO: Assistant Manager - Aerie Lab Stores
SUPERVISES: N/A
GRADE: 1
PURPOSE:
Responsible for assisting the Lab Management & Visual Merchandising teams in all creative, documentation and operational aspects of the Aerie Visual Lab Stores, including the building and maintenance of all floor sets and related projects, inventory control, development of associates and upholding all visual standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and train part time associates in all corporate visual, marketing and operational standards
  • Lead preparation of lab stores for all scheduled events and walk throughs as needed
  • Manage execution of all daily tasks when lab management team is working on future projects
  • Accountable for completion of all floor set preparation
  • Follow up with associates, ensuring all tasks have been executed to standard
  • Work directly with lab management to execute all assigned visual direction
  • Actively assist management team with creative merchandising and display solutions
  • Delegate tasks to be completed at a fast pace while maintaining a high level of detail
  • Manage the floor set write up process
  • Organize and place marketing elements as directed
  • Track and monitor all product samples in the visual lab store
  • Maintain stockroom and marketing organization
  • Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of the lab stores
  • Observe and monitor loss prevention and advise management of any unusual activity
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong prioritization, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Work and communicate well with a diverse group of individuals at multiple levels
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Minimum High School Diploma. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or Fashion Related field preferred
  • 2+ years of retail management experience preferred
  • Proficient in PC/MAC/Adobe Creative Suite Software

  • Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location
