What is a visionary?

A Visionary is a leader who focuses on long-term goals, big-picture thinking, and innovation. They provide strategic direction, inspire teams, and identify opportunities for growth and transformation. Visionaries often work in executive or entrepreneurial roles, shaping the future of a company or industry. Their key responsibilities include setting a clear vision, fostering creativity, and motivating others to achieve ambitious goals.

What are some common challenges faced by visionaries in a corporate setting?

Visionaries often encounter the challenge of balancing big-picture thinking with practical implementation, as not every innovative idea is immediately feasible or aligned with current resources. They may also need to overcome internal resistance to change and foster buy-in from stakeholders across multiple departments. Building consensus, securing necessary funding, and adapting to shifting market trends are key aspects of their daily work. Success in this role frequently depends on resilience, adaptability, and strong relationship-building skills when navigating complex organizational dynamics.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the visionary position, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Visionary, you need strong strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and a proven track record of leading innovation or business transformation, often backed by advanced education or experience in leadership roles. Familiarity with project management software, market analysis tools, and innovation frameworks is beneficial in this position. Exceptional communication, persuasive leadership, and the ability to inspire and align diverse teams are standout soft skills. These capabilities are crucial because Visionaries must articulate a compelling future direction and mobilize others to drive organizational change.

What are good careers for visionaries?

Visionaries often excel in careers that require innovative thinking and strategic planning, such as entrepreneurs, product designers, creative directors, and technology innovators. These roles typically involve leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to see future trends, often supported by skills in design, business development, or technology tools. Success in these careers may also require strong communication and adaptability to changing environments.

Home Buying Specialist

Visionary Ventures

Hempstead, NY

Full-time

Job description

Home Buying SpecialistSix-Figure Real Estate Sales Opportunity | Long Island, NY

What if you could keep doing what you’re good at—selling real estate—without having to constantly chase your next lead?

Visionary Ventures is looking for a driven, relationship-focused Home Buying Specialist to join our growing real estate investment team serving homeowners throughout Long Island and Suffolk County.

This could be a great opportunity for an experienced real estate professional who enjoys working with people and closing deals—but is burned out from cold prospecting, chasing listings, buying leads, or constantly worrying about where the next deal is coming from.

THE LEADS ARE PROVIDED. YOU CLOSE THE DEALS.

You won't be expected to spend your days knocking doors, making hundreds of cold calls, or hunting for your own prospects.

We provide qualified leads and appointments with homeowners who have already expressed interest in exploring their options.

Your job is to meet with them, understand their situation, build trust, present solutions, negotiate, and close.

And because your earning potential is directly tied to your performance, this is a legitimate opportunity to build a six-figure income in real estate.

Why This Role Is Different

Maybe you've already built a career in real estate.

Maybe you've been a Realtor.

Maybe you've spent years prospecting, networking, following up, generating leads, and trying to keep your pipeline full.

And maybe you're starting to wonder:

“Is there a better way to make money in real estate?”

We think there is.

At Visionary Ventures, you get the opportunity to use the skills you already have—communication, relationship building, negotiation, sales, and real estate knowledge—while we help put qualified opportunities in front of you.

Instead of spending the majority of your time looking for sellers, you'll spend your time talking to homeowners who have already raised their hand.

What You'll Do

As a Home Buying Specialist, you'll:

  • Meet homeowners at provided appointments throughout Suffolk County
  • Build rapport and establish trust quickly
  • Understand the homeowner's goals, challenges, and motivation
  • Evaluate opportunities and determine potential solutions
  • Present cash offers and other available options
  • Negotiate directly with homeowners
  • Guide sellers through the decision-making process
  • Follow up consistently with prospective sellers
  • Work closely with our acquisitions and leadership teams
  • Maintain accurate records of appointments, negotiations, and follow-ups
  • Help create win-win outcomes for homeowners and the company

This is a face-to-face, relationship-driven sales position.

You're not simply selling a product.

You're helping homeowners navigate what may be one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.

Your Real Estate Experience Can Work Here

We're particularly interested in people who already understand real estate and sales.

You may be a:

  • Real Estate Agent
  • Realtor
  • Listing Agent
  • Buyer's Agent
  • Investment Property Specialist
  • Mortgage Professional
  • Real Estate Salesperson
  • New Construction Sales Representative
  • Property Sales Professional
  • Or another experienced real estate professional

You don't necessarily need to start over.

The skills you've developed in real estate—prospecting, qualifying, building relationships, handling objections, negotiating, and closing—can translate extremely well into this position.

And if you're newer to real estate but you're an exceptional salesperson with the right attitude, we'll consider you as well.

Compensation

Paid training (90days) Uncapped commissions.

Six-figure annual income is achievable for high performers.

There is no artificial ceiling on what you can earn based on your performance.

The more opportunities you successfully convert, the more you can make.

This isn't an hourly job where your income is capped by the number of hours you work.

It's a sales opportunity where your income can grow with your results.

Requirements
  • Live in or near Suffolk County / Long Island
  • Comfortable traveling to homeowner appointments throughout the area
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable with face-to-face sales
  • Able to handle emotional or difficult conversations professionally
  • Self-motivated and organized
  • Willing to work evenings and/or weekends when needed
  • Real estate experience is strongly preferred but not required for the right salesperson
How to Apply

1. Submit your resume

2. Complete the Predictive Index assessments sent to your email

3. If there's potential for a fit, our recruiting team will contact you to schedule an interview.
