Job description

07th July, 2026
Executive Assistant to CEO
San Carlos, CA | Fully Onsite
$200,000 Base + Benefits (No Bonus)
We're partnering confidentially with an incredibly innovative, venture-backed technology company at the forefront of AI, robotics, and advanced hardware systems.
This organization is building technology that has the potential to fundamentally reshape how humans live and work... and they're looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to support a visionary founder/CEO during a period of rapid growth and momentum.
This is not a traditional administrative role.
It's a high-trust partnership for someone who thrives in fast-moving, intellectually curious environments and genuinely enjoys bringing order, structure, and calm to ambitious ideas.
The CEO is deeply technical, highly driven, and operating at an extraordinary level. The right person for this role will act as both a strategic thought partner and operational anchor... someone who can create systems, anticipate needs before they arise, and help keep the organization moving efficiently at scale.
You'll sit at the center of innovation with exposure to cutting-edge work across AI, robotics, engineering, and product development.
This is an ideal opportunity for an EA who loves building structure in dynamic environments and wants to work alongside some of the brightest minds in technology.
What You'll Do
  • Own and manage an extremely complex, fast-changing calendar with precision and sound judgment
โ€ข Serve as a trusted gatekeeper and strategic partner to the CEO
โ€ข Build processes and operational structure that create efficiency and reduce friction
โ€ข Coordinate seamlessly across engineering, operations, leadership, and external stakeholders
โ€ข Manage sensitive communications with professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence
โ€ข Support high-priority initiatives, special projects, and executive workflows
โ€ข Anticipate challenges before they surface and proactively problem-solve
โ€ข Help create calm, organization, and momentum in a very high-performance environment
What We're Looking For
  • Significant experience supporting a Founder, CEO, or senior executive in a high-growth environment
โ€ข Experience within technology, hardware, robotics, manufacturing, AI, or engineering-driven organizations strongly preferred
โ€ข Operationally minded with a natural ability to build systems and create structure amidst ambiguity
โ€ข Calm under pressure and adaptable in rapidly evolving situations
โ€ข Highly organized, detail-oriented, and exceptionally proactive
โ€ข Strong executive presence with excellent communication skills
โ€ข Emotionally intelligent, discreet, resourceful, and deeply trustworthy
โ€ข Someone who enjoys being in the room where big ideas are happening
Additional Details
  • Fully onsite role based in San Carlos, CA
โ€ข Some evening and weekend connectivity expected as part of supporting a fast-moving executive environment
โ€ข Competitive compensation package including a $200K base salary plus benefits (No Bonus)
This is a rare opportunity to partner closely with a truly visionary executive and play a meaningful role inside a company shaping the future of intelligent systems.
