Job Description

The Director - Creative Studio Integration sits on the North America Marketing Services Delivery team and is responsible for coordinating the intake, prioritization, and output of work delivered through Visa Creative Studio (VCS) for NA clients. This role serves as the critical bridge between Marketing Services Delivery and VCS, ensuring that creative demand is effectively managed, prioritized, and aligned to business goals across issuers, merchants, co-brands, and fintech clients. This individual will design and direct the end-to-end flow of creative work-optimizing what enters VCS, how it is prioritized, and the quality and efficiency of what is delivered. The role operates in close partnership with Delivery Senior Directors, Delivery Segment Leads, and VCS Operations, ensuring that creative resources are deployed against the highest-impact opportunities while maintaining operational rigor and predictability.

The Director will bring both a business and operations mindset, driving integration with a critical cross-functional partner, improving resource yield, and enabling VCS to operate as a strategic growth engine for Marketing Services.

The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, detail oriented, forward thinking, has a high level of organizational acumen, and is experienced in managing creative resources and processes within a fast-paced, matrixed organization. This role reports to the Senior Director, Marketing Services Delivery.

Creative Intake & Yield Management:

  • Own and govern the intake, triage, and prioritization of all Marketing Services work routed to VCS.
  • Optimize the portfolio of creative work, ensuring high-value opportunities are prioritized and aligned to business objectives.
  • Manage overall yield-maximizing the efficiency, utilization, and impact of VCS resources across projects.

Cross-Functional Integration:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Marketing Services Delivery and VCS, ensuring seamless coordination across teams.
  • Partner closely with Delivery Senior Directors and Segment Leads to align creative priorities to client commitments, revenue goals, and segment strategies.
  • Collaborate with VCS Operations leadership to ensure capacity planning, resourcing, and workflow management are aligned with demand.

Pipeline Visibility & Planning:

  • Provide VCS with clear visibility into the Marketing Services pipeline, including upcoming engagements, key milestones, and priority programs.
  • Ensure proactive resource planning and allocation, enabling VCS to anticipate demand and staff appropriately.
  • Participate in annual and quarterly planning cycles, aligning creative capacity with business growth objectives.

Operational Excellence & Governance:

  • Establish and drive consistent processes for intake, prioritization, and delivery tracking to improve speed, transparency, and predictability.
  • Define and monitor KPIs and success metrics related to throughput, turnaround time, and quality of creative output.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and reduce inefficiencies across teams.

Strategic Partnership & Influence:

  • Position VCS as a strategic partner to Marketing Services, ensuring creative is integrated early in solutioning and client planning.
  • Advocate for the effective use of in-house creative capabilities to drive quality, consistency, and cost efficiency.
  • Influence stakeholders across Marketing, Delivery, and Operations to ensure alignment on priorities, trade-offs, and resource allocation.

Cross Functional and Executive Communication:

  • Develop and publish campaign calendars to ensure alignment with the Regional CMO office and other executive stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to engage cross functional partners (i.e. NA Core Marketing) to progress Visa brand integration into client campaigns

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
  • Strong creative management background at an agency or brand
  • Extensive experience working with marketing and/or creative agencies, with demonstrated mastery of creative operations
  • Strong creative POV and ability to communicate, influence and advocate for creative excellence
  • Demonstrated financial acumen with the ability to evaluate VCS cost structures, challenge assumptions, and drive cost-efficient outcomes while maintaining quality
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating with agency partners, balancing relationship management with achieving business objectives
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, highly matrixed organization, working across Creative studio, Business Development, Delivery, and Finance
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams and senior leaders
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to assess and identify risks or optimization opportunities
  • Experience building and scaling processes or frameworks for creative operations, including standardizing ways of working and improving operational efficiency
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate scope, risks, trade-offs, and recommendations

The estimated salary range for this positionis $178,300.00 to $ 285,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
