Step into a highly collaborative educational environment where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will make a transformative impact. This contract opportunity spans the academic year, supporting students within life skills programming from August 31, 2026, through June 17, 2027. Split your week between two dynamic sites, each offering unique experiences and support systems, as you build meaningful connections with a diverse student population.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • School-based SLP experience preferred
  • Background in feeding and swallowing (safe eating) interventions
  • Demonstrated AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) proficiency
  • Experience working with students with significant behavioral needs is a plus
  • Comfort working both independently and as part of a supportive virtual and in-person team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, therapy, and consultation services to a caseload of approx. 33 students across multiple locations
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions focused on feeding, swallowing, and AAC
  • Collaborate with special education professionals, paraprofessionals, and assistants
  • Participate in team meetings, contribute to IEPs, and foster family and community engagement
  • Utilize ample resources, virtual mentorship, and a strong support network to ensure successful outcomes for students, especially those with high behavioral needs
