The Calvert Youth Behavioral Center is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Calvert Youth Behavioral Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting in-depth assessments to understand the mental health needs of clients and developing personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique circumstances.
  • Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including solution-focused therapy and cognitive-behavioral techniques, to foster client progress and resilience.
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary treatment team to coordinate comprehensive care strategies for clients.
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families, empowering them with tools and resources to navigate mental health challenges.
  • Staying informed of the latest developments in mental health research to enhance your clinical practice and contribute to ongoing organizational improvement efforts.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients come from a range of backgrounds and encompass diverse age groups, each presenting unique mental health challenges. You will engage with individuals facing issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders, particularly as many clients seek care during or after detoxification. Your expertise will enable you to offer critical support and interventions tailored to each clientโ€™s specific needs, guiding them toward improved emotional and psychological well-being.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • A valid LCSW license in the state of New York.
  • A minimum of three years of clinical experience with a focus on psychotherapy, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic methodologies.
  • Proficiency in solution-focused and evidence-based psychotherapy practices.
