Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and challenges, ensuring the development of holistic and personalized treatment plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) to address specific issues presented by clients.
  • Document clinical interactions and maintain up-to-date records in compliance with confidentiality regulations and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate enthusiastically with a multi-disciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, to ensure integrated care for clients.
  • Provide educational resources and support to clients and their families to enhance understanding of mental health issues and treatment modalities.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development by staying informed about the latest research and developments in mental health practices, ensuring evidence-based care is consistently delivered.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and families facing various mental health challenges. Our clients may present with anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and behavioral disorders. Your expertise will be vital in helping them achieve their treatment goals and improving their overall mental wellness.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • A valid LCSW license in the state of New York is required.
  • At least three years of clinical experience, particularly in providing psychotherapy within a mental health setting.
  • Strong proficiency in solution-based therapeutic interventions, including effective use of therapeutic modalities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and rapport with clients and team members.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to adapt to the evolving needs of clients and the organization.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working in a community health clinic or similar setting.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams.
Compensation and Benefits
