As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Northbay Wellness Clinic, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass:

• Group Therapy: Facilitate engaging group sessions where clients can share experiences and learn from each other, fostering a sense of community and mutual support.
• Individual Therapy: Provide compassionate, one-on-one counseling sessions to help clients explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, developing effective coping strategies tailored to their unique circumstances.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to design individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans, ensuring alignment with their personal goals and preferences.
• Progress Monitoring: Employ various assessment tools and feedback mechanisms to track clients' progress and outcomes, making data-informed adjustments to treatment as necessary.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to coordinate care effectively, discuss treatment approaches, and consult on complex cases, ensuring comprehensive support for each client.

This role focuses specifically on young adults aged 18 to 30, supporting them through their mental health journeys in our intensive outpatient program (PHP). You will inspire hope and healing for clients facing a wide range of challenges, from anxiety and depression to relationship issues and life transitions.

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

• A current and valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in Arizona.
• A Bachelor's Degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
• A passion for helping young adults and a commitment to making a positive impact on their lives.

While not mandatory, experience in group therapy facilitation, familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques, and a background in treating young adults are highly desirable. Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices and mental health assessments will further enhance your ability to contribute effectively to our clients' journeys.
