Overview
The Inside Sales Representative - Client Solutions drives revenue growth within an existing client base by developing strong relationships, leveraging referrals from internal partners, and identifying opportunities to sell and expand HCM products and services for clients in the 20+ employee segment. This role owns the full sales cycle-from proactive outreach and needs discovery to solution presentation and closing-while acting as a trusted advisor to deepen client partnerships and increase overall value. Work in-person at the sales hub 5x per week.
Responsibilities
  • Presenting Paychex solutions and services to final decision makers and end users within the prospective universe.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and closing cross-sell and upsell opportunities
  • Proactively engage accounts via phone, email, and virtual meetings to uncover needs
  • Build strong relationships with clients and act as a trusted advisor
  • Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of expansion opportunities
  • Present tailored HCM solutions aligned to client business goals
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated, high-value solutions
  • Meet or exceed sales quotas and performance targets
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline tracking, and forecasting
  • Project a positive image in representing Paychex to clients and the community.

Qualifications
  • H.S. Diploma - Required
  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
  • 1 year of experience in Inside Sales.
  • 2 years of experience in sales/selling.
