Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

  • Join a warehouse team responsible for receiving materials, moving products using pallet jacks and forklifts, and supporting inventory control activities.
  • This role offers opportunities at both entry and experienced levels, with responsibilities that include handling materials safely, working with warehouse systems, and contributing to accurate and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming materials and products, verify quantities and documentation, and ensure items are properly labeled and recorded.
  • Move products and materials throughout the warehouse using pallet jacks and forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and support ongoing inventory control processes.
  • Assist with inventory control activities, including tracking stock levels, identifying discrepancies, and updating records.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling tools in accordance with safety procedures.
  • Handle materials that may require specialized processes such as washing or autoclaving, following established protocols where applicable.
  • Support cleanroom or controlled environment procedures as needed, adhering to cleanliness and handling standards.
  • Use an ERP system and general computer applications (for Level II) to enter, update, and retrieve inventory and transaction data.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all warehouse safety and housekeeping guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure timely and accurate movement of materials and products.

Essential Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • For Level I: Approximately 6 months to 1 year of material handling or warehouse experience.
  • For Level II: 2 to 5 years of material handling experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
  • Experience using pallet jacks to move materials safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts in a warehouse setting.
  • Basic understanding of inventory processes such as receiving, stock movement, and cycle counting.
  • Good general computer skills, including the ability to learn and use warehouse-related software (required for Level II).
  • ERP system experience for inventory or warehouse operations (required for Level II).
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and consistently.
  • Strong attention to detail when handling materials and updating records.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience working in a warehouse environment with material handling responsibilities.
  • Exposure to cleanroom environments or controlled areas is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with processes involving autoclaves or washing of materials is an advantage.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
