Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Training Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting the day-to-day delivery of Barton Malow's training and development programs. This role manages scheduling, learning management system administration, and participant communications for programs such as the Training Matrix Framework and WeBUILD Learning, giving the Talent Development team the operational support needed to keep learning programs running smoothly.

 

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*: 

 

Program & Session Coordination

Schedule and coordinate training sessions, workshops, and facilitator logistics, including rooms, virtual platforms, and materials. Track registrations, attendance, and completions, and serve as the point of contact for participants before, during, and after training events.

Learning Management System Administration

Provide administrative and operational support within WeBUILD Learning and SuccessFactors Learning by assisting with approved learning activities, class administration, learner and instructor support, data validation, and record maintenance in accordance with documented procedures and LMS governance standards. Troubleshoot routine participant and facilitator issues, and escalate requests involving system functionality, configuration changes, permissions, content governance, assignment profiles, curricula, reporting design, or other enterprise-impacting decisions to the HR Manager 1 - Talent Development/Enterprise LMS Administrator.

Training Communications & Materials

Draft and distribute training announcements, reminders, and program updates to team members and HR Business Partners. Prepare participant materials, sign-in sheets, surveys, and post-training feedback forms, and support the formatting of training collateral such as guides and reference cards.

Reporting & Recordkeeping

Support routine reporting and recordkeeping activities by running and distributing approved reports on completion rates, participation, and training activity in accordance with established LMS governance standards. Maintain accurate training records through approved processes, data validation, and documentation practices, while escalating requests involving new reports, reporting logic, expanded data access, audit interpretation, or cross-system recordkeeping decisions to the HR Manager 1 - Talent Development/Enterprise LMS Administrator.

Team & Vendor Support

Provide day-to-day administrative and project support to the Director of Talent Development and team members, helping track action items, timelines, and deliverables across concurrent initiatives. Support coordination with external training vendors and partners, including scheduling and logistics.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT/JOB CONDITIONS: 

Primarily office-based. Occasional travel to Barton Malow offices or jobsites for in-person training events may be required based on Company needs.
