Virtual Solar Sales information

Can you actually make money in virtual solar sales?

Virtual solar sales representatives can earn income through commissions based on the solar systems they sell, often with performance-based incentives. Success depends on sales skills, product knowledge, and the ability to generate leads remotely; many earn a full-time income or more with consistent performance.

Is remote virtual solar sales a good job?

Virtual solar sales is a remote sales role where representatives promote solar energy solutions to potential customers online or via phone. It often requires strong communication skills, knowledge of solar products, and the ability to work independently, with compensation typically based on commissions or bonuses. The job can offer flexibility and the opportunity to earn competitive income, but success depends on sales performance and industry knowledge.

Can you sell virtual solar sales remotely?

Virtual solar sales representatives can sell solar systems remotely using phone calls, video conferencing, and digital marketing tools. Success in remote sales often depends on strong communication skills, product knowledge, and the ability to build rapport without in-person interaction.

What is virtual solar sales?

Virtual Solar Sales is the process of selling solar energy systems and related products to customers remotely, often using online platforms, phone calls, and video conferencing instead of in-person meetings. Sales representatives educate potential customers about solar energy benefits, assess their needs, provide quotes, and guide them through the purchase process entirely online. This approach allows for greater flexibility and can reach a wider customer base, making solar energy solutions more accessible. Virtual Solar Sales professionals must be knowledgeable about solar products, incentives, and installation processes, as well as skilled in digital communication.

How does a virtual solar sales professional collaborate with installation teams and project managers?

As a Virtual Solar Sales professional, you'll frequently coordinate with installation teams and project managers to ensure a seamless transition from signed contract to project completion. After closing a sale, it's common to relay customer requirements and expectations to the operations team, answer technical questions, and facilitate communication between the client and installers. Regular virtual meetings and shared project management tools help keep everyone aligned and address issues proactively, making teamwork and clear communication essential parts of the role.

What skills and qualifications are needed for virtual solar sales?

To excel as a Virtual Solar Sales Representative, you need strong sales acumen, knowledge of solar energy solutions, and often a background in business or environmental science. Proficiency with CRM software, virtual meeting platforms, and solar design tools is typically required. Outstanding communication, active listening, and self-motivation are crucial soft skills that help build client trust and drive results in a remote setting. These competencies enable representatives to effectively educate clients, close sales, and adapt to a rapidly growing, technology-driven industry.

Job description

Job Description

At the Brooks-Aderholt Agency, we help working families protect what matters most: their income, their home, their kids' future, and their peace of mind. It's not complicated. People need it, and we're the ones who bring it to them.

If you've been working retail, phone sales, customer service, or anything where you're talking to people all day and wondering why your paycheck doesn't reflect how hard you work — keep reading. You already have the skills for this. We just point them in a direction that actually pays.

What You'll Do

  • Meet with families (virtually) who already know about us or were referred to us by another family member
  • Walk them through protection plans that cover their income, mortgage, children's education, and final expenses
  • Help clients choose the right coverage based on their needs and budget
  • Follow up with existing clients to review and update their policies
  • Complete new business applications and guide clients through enrollment
  • Attend weekly team training and professional development sessions

Who This Is For

  • You've worked at AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Best Buy, or a similar retail/sales environment and you're tired of the ceiling
  • You're in a call center or customer service role and you know you're capable of more
  • You've done restaurant or hospitality work and you're ready for your people skills to translate into real money
  • You've sold phones, knives, solar, roofing, gym memberships — anything — and you want to sell something people actually need without the cold calling
  • You're in the southeast region and you want flexibility with real structure and support behind it

What We Need From You

  • You're a people person — conversation comes naturally to you
  • Some kind of customer-facing or sales background, even if it's informal
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • You're coachable and willing to learn a new industry from scratch
  • Willing to get licensed — licensing is discussed during the interview, including options that don't require you to pay for it yourself, plus reimbursement opportunities
  • Available to work full-time, primarily Monday through Friday

What You Get

  • Every family you meet with already knows about us or was referred by a family member — no cold calling, ever
  • Full training and one-on-one mentorship from day one — no experience in this industry needed
  • Weekly commission-based pay plus performance-based bonuses and incentives
  • Fully remote — work from home anywhere you're licensed, with full virtual training and support
  • Clear promotion path into leadership roles within 6–24 months
  • Bonuses, incentive trips, and team competitions that actually make work fun

Real Talk

If you're grinding at a retail counter or sitting in a call center right now making $15–$20/hour and wondering if this is it — it's not. The same skills that make you good at handling customers, reading people, and closing a sale are the same skills that can have you earning $1,000+ a week here. The difference is nobody's putting a cap on it.

We don't care where you went to school. We care that you show up, you're coachable, and you actually want something better. If that's you — apply.

Company Description

The Brooks-Aderholt Agency, part of Globe Life's Liberty National Division, helps working families protect what matters most — their income, their home, and their loved ones' future. We believe in promoting from within: everyone starts in the same role, and advancement is based purely on performance, not politics or tenure. With hands-on training, mentorship from day one, and warm client leads, we give driven people a clear, merit-based path into leadership. If you're coachable, ambitious, and want your effort to directly determine your income and your growth, this is where you build a real career.
