Position Overview
Shenandoah Community School District is seeking a dynamic, student-centered educator to join our high school mathematics department for the 2026-2027 school year. We are committed to academic excellence, fostering an environment where students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills necessary for post-secondary success. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making complex mathematical concepts accessible and engaging for all learners.
Key Responsibilities
  • Instructional Excellence: Deliver high-quality instruction in core subjects such as Algebra I & II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Statistics, aligning lessons with Iowa Core standards.
  • Student Engagement: Utilize diverse teaching strategies and educational technology to enhance mathematical visualization and personalized learning.
  • Assessment & Data: Implement formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress, using data to drive instructional adjustments and interventions.
