Job description

Position: Middle School Math Teacher
Saint Francis Xavier School
Employment Type: Full-time
Location: Petoskey, MI
Middle School Math Teacher
St. Francis Xavier School in Petoskey is looking for a dynamic, caring, and committed teacher of middle school math for the 2026-27 school year. Applications are being accepted for part time basis, fewer than 20 hours per week, or full time assignments with the ability to teach other subjects in addition to math.
Qualified candidates
  • Will possess a valid State of Michigan Teaching Certificate for Math 6-8 (EX).
  • A practicing Catholic with knowledge of the Catholic faith is preferred but not required.
  • Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, resume, and references.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Practicing Catholic with an active faith and prayer life.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
  • Valid State of Michigan teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain certification).
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills with students, parents, and faculty.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with educational technology and digital learning tools.
