Job description

Rock Point School, Inc. dba Rock Point Community School seeks Secondary Math Teacher in Rock Point, AZ.
Location of Employment: Highway 191, Rock Point, AZ 86545.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree. Valid Arizona Department of Education Certificate in Standard Professional Secondary, 6-12 listing Mathematics as an approved study area.
Duties: Teach secondary school math curriculum to secondary students. Design instructional activities
that enhance the teaching objectives and reflect an interdisciplinary/thematic approach to
teaching math. Select appropriate instruction materials commensurate with the students'
ability levels and interests. Demonstrate the highest commitment to student achievement and
student effective development. Communicate effectively with staff, students, parents, and the
community in support of educational programs. Support the ongoing development and
implementation of the school district's standards based on educational programs.
Salary and Benefits: $64,409.36 per year. Optional Employer-Provided Rental Housing Available. Group Health/Life Insurance and 401(k) Retirement Plan also provided.
