Job Summary:
HX5, LLC is an award-winning provider of engineering, research and development, and technical services to clients such as NASA and the Department of Defense. They are currently seeking a qualified Senior Network Administrator to support the Training Division at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, focusing on maintaining and securing network systems while providing comprehensive IT support.
Responsibilities:
• Administer and maintain LAN and WAN systems, including network security across classified and unclassified environments .
• Provide secure communication venues for product teams to discuss sensitive requirements and designs.
• Support assessment, development, and sustainment of telecommunications infrastructure including phones, videoconferencing, and messaging systems.
• Assist with development of web-based Information Technology Equipment Management systems and custom Government software applications.
• Perform Virtual Machine Ware (VM Ware) server administration, including virtualization and high availability environments.
• Provide help desk support, managing IT trouble tickets and user access to Government systems such as ABSS, CPARs, and CAS.
• Install and maintain communications cabling including CAT5 and fiber infrastructure.
• Develop and produce documentation and artifacts required to certify unclassified and classified network systems; maintain, manage, and assist with development of documentation required for DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) or Risk Management Framework (RMF) certification for Unclassified, Classified and higher infrastructure.
• Conduct system security reviews of new designs and software to identify risks and vulnerabilities.
• Integrate new technologies and provide recommendations for infrastructure improvements.
• Analyze system usage, troubleshoot IT infrastructure issues, and implement upgrades to improve reliability.
• Support Air Force network interfaces to ensure availability and integrity of mission-critical systems.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field and at least ten (10) years of directly related experience, five (5) years of which must be in the DoD
• OR Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and twelve (12) years of directly related experience, five (5) years of which must be in the DoD
• OR 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications, eight (8) years of which must be in the DoD.
• Must have a current DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification.
• Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
• Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Must be able to travel, including air travel.
