How You’ll Contribute

As an APP (PA or NP) with Luro Provider Group, you’ll deliver high-quality, evidence-based obesity medicine care to patients enrolled in our virtual programs. You’ll work collaboratively with physicians, dietitians, health coaches, care coordinators, and operational partners to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a fully remote environment. You’ll play a key role in improving access to specialized care, helping patients navigate chronic conditions, and supporting long-term behavior change through a tech-enabled care model.

Candidates must reside in Rhode Island and hold an active Rhode Island license.

What You’ll Do
  • Conduct virtual patient assessments and medical histories
  • Diagnose and manage obesity and related chronic conditions
  • Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with clinical protocols and supervision requirements
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans
  • Monitor patient progress, safety, and treatment response
  • Educate patients on medical and behavioral aspects of obesity care
  • Escalate clinical concerns and adjust care as appropriate
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and participate in case reviews
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the EHR
  • Uphold telehealth, prescribing, and compliance standards
What We’re Looking For Licensure & Education
  • Active PA-C or NP license and DEA in good standing (required)
  • NP board certified or PA program graduate (accredited)li>
  • Must reside in Rhode Island and hold an active RI license
  • Telehealth eligibility in assigned states
Experience
  • Primary care, obesity medicine, endocrinology, or chronic disease experience (preferred)
  • Telehealth experience (preferred)
Skills & Attributes
