Purpose:
NEP is seeking driven, technically curious, and highly motivated individuals to join our Production Apprentice Program in our South Florida facility. The purpose of this position is to develop live sports production skills through five program phases. Successful completion of the program will lead to an opportunity as an Associate Producer within NEP.
The Production Apprentice Program is structured into Five developmental phases that progressively build knowledge and expertise in live sports production environments. This immersive developmental program is designed to provide hands-on training across multiple areas of live sports production. Apprentices will gain real-world experience working alongside industry professionals while developing the technical, creative, and operational skills needed to succeed in live broadcasting.
Developmental Phases:
Phase I- Media Management
Phase II- Replay
Phase III- Graphics
Phase IV- Technical Director/Director
Phase v- Producing

Phase I - Media Management
  • Develop an understanding of media asset management before, during, and after live events.

Phase II - Replay
  • Learn the replay operator and replay producer role within live sports broadcasts.

Phase III - Graphics
  • Gain experience supporting live graphics production and operation.

Phase IV - Technical Director / Director
  • Develop technical directing and live show execution skills.

Phase V - Producing
  • Learn the fundamentals of producing live sports broadcasts.

  • Associate's degree or Technical Degree in:
    • Broadcast Communications
    • Journalism
    • Media Production
    • Related field preferred
  • Basic photo and video editing knowledge
  • Strong interest in live sports production and broadcasting
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as production schedules require
