Essential Areas of Responsibility
  • Build rapport and relationships with regional team members, cross-functional partners, and external contacts (HCPs and office staff).
  • Provide product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing.
  • Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote product and provide product/patient education.
  • Strategically manage and grow key accounts; tailor solutions to meet unique needs; leverage insights to drive differentiation and sales targets.
  • Review/analyze sales data to create territory plans and use promotional budget.
  • Maintain competitiveness by addressing external market challenges; collaborate internally on cohesive sales strategies.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate expertise and execute shared objectives.
  • Maintain call average per sales plan (face-to-face with top target customers).
  • Use problem-solving to improve performance in assigned geography/region.
  • Adhere to all compliance policies and guidelines.
  • Achieve sales goals and complete required administrative duties.
Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree required (preferably related field).
  • Documented business-to-business sales experience (pharmaceutical sales preferred).
  • Preferred: complex healthcare account management; experience with specialty pharmacies/access/reimbursement support; neurology/psychiatry/pediatric/rare disease/specialty therapeutics; new product launch.
Skills/Abilities
  • Proven market accomplishments; strong written/oral communication.
